Long lines but they move along ok. Expect about 10 minutes or more in the summer. Very popular place, courteous servers.

My family loves Handel's! The ice cream is incredibly fresh and always delicious. I don't think we've found a flavor we haven't liked, and we've tried most of them. Their Buckeye ice cream is our absolute favorite; my husband and I both get it every time. Our other recommendation: the four scoop sampler. You get four reasonable scoops of ice cream and have the chance to try four different flavors! Handel's is our top choice for ice cream, even when we have to drive out of our way to have it.

Tons of amazing homemade flavors served by kind people at walk up windows. Always enjoy trying their new and creative flavors. There's ice cream and then theirs Handel's. Always worth the trip!

Delicious! Fantastic! I really liked the ice cream here! Ordered sunday, with cofee chocolate chipa and strawberry cheesecake flavors, both the flavors were surprisingly tasty and the presentation was also really good, they give large quantities compare to other ice cream franchises nearby, generously put the whipping cream ( that was my favorite part)

I could drool just thinking about Handel's. Get the chocolate cake batter (tastes just like you dipped your spoon in your mom's cake mix bowl) or graham central station (best graham flavored ice cream I've ever had the pleasure of consuming). You won't be disappointed.

There is no better ice cream. Even though I don't live on this end town any longer, we always make a trip over for my birthday. The Chocolate Peanut Butter Brownie is to die for.

Great ice cream. However, I suggest better vegan options for dairy free alternatives. The watermelon sherbert tasted strange for my son with allergies.

Ok well the first time I had grape ice cream was when I was a young teen, it is still one of my all time favorite flavors, highly recommend.

I am from California where Handels is making a great splash. It’s so good that whenever we visit our college kids in Ohio, we make a special trip to Handels. I think it’s the best ice cream in the USA. No comparison. Favorites: Graham Central Station, Salted Caramel and Coconut Cream Pie! But seriously, all the flavors are amazing.

Good place to grab ice cream. I like “window” ice cream shops like these, much more than ordering ice cream inside. I ordered the pecan ice cream without realizing it was low sugar, fat free and it was actually really good.

Ice cream flavor and quality was excellent. This location does not have an indoor parlor.There are some benches to sit on, but no tables.

Stood at the window 5 min with no service, walked around to other windows thinking I missed the right place to order. Finally 3 other people walked up to the same window where I had been waiting and were waited on immediately ahead of me. Ice cream was ok

This is some of the best ice cream in Columbus! In my opinion, it’s even better than Jeni’s or Graeter’s. The flavors are crazy and exciting and delicious. I love the chocoholic chunk and blueberry cheesecake. My husband loves the blue moon and the oree - dough. My husband and I love to split the four scoop sampler for $5. The ice cream is so rich that it’s the perfect amount for both of us. I’m excited that it’s open year round so we can have it whenever. Although I wish they had a small indoor area to sit. Even during the summer, the few benches they have fill up quickly and are also in direct sunlight some of the time. They also need to hire more people or something because the line gets so long and takes way longer than it should!

Really great ice cream here! Love the Elvis flavor! There may be a bit of a line in the evenings. Keep an eye out for 1 dollar cone nights.

The Best!!!!Graeters is good, Jeni’s is cute, but this is the best ice cream spot around. My belly wishes there were more locations in Columbus, my pants are happy the way it is.Would recommend getting Graham Central with a pie flavor such as strawberry and create your P-ice cream. Unheralded deliciousness.

First time here and it was great. Friendly employees and ice cream was amazing. Better than Graeter's for sure! Can't wait to go back.

This is my favorite ice cream shop in Columbus. While they are open year round they only have outside ordering and waiting so we only hit this place in the warmer months. I love the flavors and also the temperatures of the ice cream because it’s hard scooped ice cream but melts in your mouth like soft serve. Not many dairy free/vegan options here though - normally one flavor a month. I recommend the chocolate ice cream with peanut butter ribbon - it’s called peanut butter parfait.

Always such a treat! Quick and friendly staff, SO MANY FLAVOURS AND OPTIONS, and a nice location! There is a nice park behind the building that I encourage you to check out. I also encourage you to check out their seasonal/monthly flavour options! My s/o loves the key lime pie ice cream during the summer for example! :) Parking is typically easy to find.

Little place to get ice cream out of a window, but holy **** good ice cream. Try the smores icecream, you won't regret it. Unless you hate Smores. But I don't think that's the case...

Their homemade ice cream is delicious. And the variety of options is really nice. Personally love chocolate and vanilla ice cream in a chocolate dipped cone with peanuts. Also their oreo hurricanes are awesome.

If you’re a fan of milkshakes I don’t recommend Handels. I’ve been here twice over the past year and ordered a mint chocolate chip milkshake. Both times it was like drinking a glass of milk. No thickness in the shake whatsoever. I figured the first time might be an accident but after the second time of a poor quality shake, I won’t return.
